This historical and educational building can be revitalized and once again become a showcase for future generations…
Built in the 1850s, the Denton House and the Old Castle Farm were sold to the State of New York to establish the NYS Agricultural Experiment Station in 1882. Since the early 1970s, The Denton House, known for many years as Parrott Hall, has been vacant. Friends of Parrott Hall was established in October, 2017, to save this national landmark.
Instead of remaining forever vacant, our vision is to adaptively re-use this architectural treasure, according to plans being developed by a feasibility study concluding in 2021. For more than 100 years, Parrott Hall has been a place of science and agricultural innovation.
Friends of Parrott Hall, Inc., is a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization.
